The brand's founder, Steven, has been involved in the custom gift trade between China and the US since 2013. He noticed that the unfamiliarity of foreign markets made it difficult for ordinary consumers and store owners to purchase goods, requiring large minimum orders and involving tariffs. This inspired him to create Dwoki, which helps ordinary people purchase and customize products from abroad.
